BREAKING NEWS: Stephen Keshi's resignation confirmed.

This is a follow up to my earlier post, some minutes ago, just got a text from a fellow blogger that the resignation of  Super Eagles gaffer, Stephen Keshi has been confirmed.

His resignation as the team's head coach is causing lots of commotion especially since it happened almost 24 hours after the much celebrated victory against Bokina faso yesterday.

Keshi, 51, guided the Super Eagles of Nigeria to a third Africa Nations Cup victory at the South Africa 2013 tournament following a 1-0 win over Burkina Faso in the final match played on Sunday.

Speaking exclusively on Africa's number one sports radio station, Sports Radio 88.9 Brila FM, the former Mali and Togo national team coach thanked Nigerians for their prayers and support throughout his tenure while expressing joy that the players were able to translate their passion and desire into victory in South Africa.

Stephen Keshi is citing interference from the Sports Ministry as the sole reason why he is walking away, according to other monitored reports.
